Lilac and white Wall Plaque

Hi Everyone
I have just finished this wall plaque. I purchased the plaque from Christine Emberson of Hope & Chance Creativity. I did the festive plaque when I went for the day class with her, and have got hooked. I can see everyone receiving wall plaques next christmas.  I chose Lilac and white for this one to go with my bedroom scheme.  The centre flower I stitched on card using a pattern from Anns Paper Art then coloured it in with pan pastels (I love them).  I then cut the large flower using spellbinders Rose Creations die in vellum and tinged the edges with inks. All the other die cuts were from Spellbinders dies, and a couple of punches for the butterfly hearts and tiny flowers.
I really enjoyed playing with this one and I am sure I will soon be doing more  (not until after Christmas though haha!!)
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas, I am not sure if I will be posting again this side of it.

Festive crafting day out

Hi Everyone
I had a lovely day out yesterday, I went with Linda and Maureen (2 ladies from the club) down to Gravesend to Christine Emberson of Hope & Chance Creativity for a Festive Crafting day.  We had a really brilliant day, we were thoroughly spoilt with the most gorgeous Lemon cake, mince pies, chocolates, cheese straws and lots of goodies.
Oh Yes!!  we went there to do crafting as well as eating LOL!!
We made this lovely wall plaque, christmas card and little boxes.  What a brilliant day!!, I will have to go again in the new Year, when she opens her new shop and studio.
Here's the picture of what we made, I know it doesn't look much but we had to make time to chat and laugh didn't we

Woven Birthday Card

Well this is the last entry for today.  I have had really great fun fiddling around with this card.  I cut 1/2" strips of paper in 2 colours and wove them together, trimmed them up, then I put it through the Grand Calibur embossing it  with spellbinders folder,   I then  mounted it on card added a trim of lace.  I made the flowers using the same pattern paper. I must admit I was quite chuffed with the results.

Quilt for Grand-daughter Amie

I have just finished another quilt in black and white with pink flowers.  This one is for my grand-daughter Amie.  I have used the black and white cow fleece for the backing and sewn tiny pink buttons on a lot of the squares. It help to keep the backing attached to the front.  I like this way of doing quilts, nice and simple and quick.  A few glasses of wine help to sew all these buttons on LOL!! not too many though.
