Hi Everyone
I have just finished this wall plaque. I purchased the plaque from Christine Emberson of Hope & Chance Creativity. I did the festive plaque when I went for the day class with her, and have got hooked. I can see everyone receiving wall plaques next christmas. I chose Lilac and white for this one to go with my bedroom scheme. The centre flower I stitched on card using a pattern from Anns Paper Art then coloured it in with pan pastels (I love them). I then cut the large flower using spellbinders Rose Creations die in vellum and tinged the edges with inks. All the other die cuts were from Spellbinders dies, and a couple of punches for the butterfly hearts and tiny flowers.
I really enjoyed playing with this one and I am sure I will soon be doing more (not until after Christmas though haha!!)
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas, I am not sure if I will be posting again this side of it.

Festive crafting day out
Hi Everyone
I had a lovely day out yesterday, I went with Linda and Maureen (2 ladies from the club) down to Gravesend to Christine Emberson of Hope & Chance Creativity for a Festive Crafting day. We had a really brilliant day, we were thoroughly spoilt with the most gorgeous Lemon cake, mince pies, chocolates, cheese straws and lots of goodies.
Oh Yes!! we went there to do crafting as well as eating LOL!!
We made this lovely wall plaque, christmas card and little boxes. What a brilliant day!!, I will have to go again in the new Year, when she opens her new shop and studio.
Here's the picture of what we made, I know it doesn't look much but we had to make time to chat and laugh didn't we

Woven Birthday Card
Well this is the last entry for today. I have had really great fun fiddling around with this card. I cut 1/2" strips of paper in 2 colours and wove them together, trimmed them up, then I put it through the Grand Calibur embossing it with spellbinders folder, I then mounted it on card added a trim of lace. I made the flowers using the same pattern paper. I must admit I was quite chuffed with the results.

Quilt for Grand-daughter Amie
I have just finished another quilt in black and white with pink flowers. This one is for my grand-daughter Amie. I have used the black and white cow fleece for the backing and sewn tiny pink buttons on a lot of the squares. It help to keep the backing attached to the front. I like this way of doing quilts, nice and simple and quick. A few glasses of wine help to sew all these buttons on LOL!! not too many though.

Chocolate Bar Wrapper
Well here goes, 2 posts in one day, never been done on here before, haha, I suppose there's always a 1st.
This is a chocolate bar wrapper, that I have made using the idea from Christine Emberson of Hope & Chances Creativity. (She is a designer for Spellbinders) If you have never looked at her blog, she has some wonderful ideas on there. So I have copied the idea, but have done my own interpretation. It is so easy to do and great fun for that little extra pressie at Christmas, I have got to do 5 in total. Christines design is much better than mine, but I am quite pleased with this one.
Hope you like it.

Birthday Card for my Sister
Hi
I made this Birthday card for my Sister using the lovely doily die called Tranquil Lace from Couture Creations. It is such a pretty die. I stitched the pattern in the middle using Anns Paper Art pattern a100 then added purple ribbon and stitched round the doily. I then used lace with attached pearls down the side of the card and added a few more pearls.

Another Quilt
Hi Ladies
I have just made this baby cot quilt. I have stitched it by hand and thoroughly enjoyed doing so. It is for my 6th great grandchild due later this month, I am just waiting for the little fellow to arrive and then I can do the label on the back, so it is ready and waiting.
Now perhaps I will carry on doing my Christmas cards. I have another order for a quilt and 2 to completely finish off, so never a dull moment.
I went with the ladies from the 2 craft clubs yesterday to Oyster Stamps and did a workshop. We made a lovely decoration using beads and die cutting, it was rather fiddly but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, many thanks to Jan & Maureen for bringing along lovely cakes, (They can come anytime they like). Later on I will put a picture of the ornament we made on here, I am going to go and cut some more card with the die I bought from Oyster Stamps.

A few cards I have done today
Hi Everyone
I have just had a lovely relaxing day today. I have been out in my shed and crafted all day. Just came in for lunch. I think I managed to find my mojo again, it had been missing for a while, my mind only seemed to work quilts, but now back to cards haha!!
The stitched ones are both patterns by Anns paperarts.
I am going to do a bit more quilting tonight so thought I'd put these on first.
Hope you are all well

My 3rd Quilt finished
I have made this Quillow for my daughter for Christmas. I was beginning to panic that I might not
get it finished in time, but hey ho, DONE IT!!
The First picture shows it opened up as a quilt, I have made this using the Log Cabin pattern, and the second picture is when it is all folded up as a cushion (much more convenient way to keep it when not in use), I got fed up doing the log cabin so thought I'd make it in a different design.
I hope you like it.
My next quilt is for a Great Grandson due in early December, so had better get cracking. Then I have 2 full size quilts in progress, nearly finished but not quite.

My Second Quilt finished
Hi Everyone
Long time no show on here. I have now finished my second quilt, I have loads of things on the go and now think I had better get a few bits on here. I have appliqued the Pink flowers onto the black and white squares. I used the brightest pink I could find to give it some life. I then backed the quilt with lovely soft and cuddly fleece with little paw prints on it (how cute) then I secured it all with some very tiny black and white buttons. It worked well. I hate sewing buttons on, so did that part whilst watching all the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and had a couple of glasses of wine to help (lovely mmm!!). Yep even with the wine it all turned out OK, hope you like it.
I will soon get round to putting some cards on here, I have a few to sort out. So busy, busy busy of late, don't know where the time is going to, somebody pleeeeese tell it to slow down.
Take care everyone, and thanks for looking

Pin Cushion
Well as you have probably all gathered by now, I have a terrible bug called Quilting LOL!!
It's terrible because it runs away with time and money, but what the heck I LOVE IT
This pin cushion is done using the Cathedral Window quilting design, very pretty and fairly quick to do.

Anniversary Card
Hi
I made this card for one of my lovely step daughters and her husband for their anniversary later this month.
I used Ann Paper Art pattern from Hobby Journal 83 for this one. I put silver mirri card in the centre of the inner heart, but unfortunately it didn't show up well in the photo.
This is a superb pattern you can do so much with it. Round the heart shape I stitched it at 1 -12 and it has given it a lovely thick line, I like the effect, hope you do.

My first Quillow
Hi Everyone
Well I have now finished my first ever Quillow.
I thoroughly enjoyed making it, I machined the blocks together and then hand stitched all the quilting. It took quite a while to do, but I am so happy with the result.
The first picture shows it folded up as a cushion and then when unfolded it opens up to a lap quilt, I have draped it over my 2 seater settee so you can judge the finished size.
I hope you like it.
I have got 3 more to make, one of them is going to be my next project at the course I am doing at Puddleducks of Sevenoaks which starts up on the 19th April. It will have all different designs on it, I expect they will be more complicated that this first one.
Hope you like it

I Loved it so made one for myself as well. The writing on the book says How To Become a Butterfly.
How cute is that.
It was so popular with the ladies at the craft clubs they borrowed the pattern, I wouldn't make them for them hahaha!!

Birthday Card for Katie
Hi
I have just made this card for one of my little Grand-daughters.
Katie will be 8 years old next month, bless her she is growing up so fast.
I used Messy Rabbit CD for the backing paper and toppers.
I borrowed the flowers off Sandy at Kentish Crafters (Permanently borrowed that is ha ha!!)
She was showing us today how she makes them using Cheery Lynn flower die in the Grand Caliber machine and used coloured tissue paper, I think the result is terrific, hope you like it.
I now know what my next must have purchase will be, the die and tissue paper, oh! and must get the brads for the middle.
There is a craft show on at Bluewater next weekend, so think I must look out for it.

Card for my Grandson
Hi again
I have made this card for my Grandson Jayson, who will be 17 on the 12th of this month. I know it is a bit strange for a 17 year old's card, but I have just spent Christmas with him and his Mum my daughter Carol.
Well he spent all of Christmas teasing me, (I don't know where he gets that from) and reminding me that he is a man now not a kid anymore, Sooooooooooo I thought this card would be quite appropriate ha ha!!
It is another pattern from A & N it is so cute.
Hope you like the card
