Book Folding by Anne

Hi Everyone
I am just putting this one on tonight. Anne at our Tuesday club has just attempted her first book folding, and I think it turned out so well I have decided to share it with you.

Well Hello There
It has been a long long time since I put anything on here. Had trouble with it everytime I tried so gave it up as a bad job.
Well thought I would have a try again so here goes.
I have now got into the book folding hobby and am really addicted to it so here are a couple of pics of them. Hope it works

Wise Old Owl and cards

Hi Everyone

I made this owl for my daughters Graduation, it was rather fiddley to do as I used a couple of patterns to make it. It was all crocheted, the main body is in crocodile stitch from one pattern, and the rest of the items were from another pattern.

She was really thrilled with it also the card I made to go with it.

The other card is for one of my Grandsons 18th Birthday. He is a budding musician, he plays drums in a band and also loves the guitar.

More Cards

Hi Everyone, well I think it's about time that I got my act together and put a couple of cards on here. I have been a bit slow of late.

I have been making a lot of different things, but I can't put some of them on here just yet, they are a
gift for someone very close and I don't want them to be seen  yet.

However I have made these cards, the little owl stitched card is made using a pattern from A & N stitching, I have so many of their patterns and this one has caught my eye so made it for one of my grandsons, the cards with the parasol and the shoe are for 2 of my lovely grand-daughters and the car is my next-door neighbor.

Happy New Year for 2015

First of all I hope you all had a really lovely Christmas, and I wish you all a very Happy, Healthy and Wealthy New Year for 2015.
Let's hope it will be a really good one, and especially have lots of time and money to spend on our Crafty bits and pieces.

I have had a good time and the last 2 days I have had a relaxing time I had a couple of the Spellbound books for Christmas. I have just made my first bauble with beads, and am really quite chuffed with it.
I altered one of the spellbound patterns to suit as I have used beads from my stash.  I know I will  now be buying beads to suit the patterns It is a lovely relaxing thing to do and makes a nice change from the usual bits things.

Table Mat

Hi everyone, Here are just a couple of things for you. Firstly is the xmas table mat I have made. It is made an Origami mat made with fabric. I have used heat resistant wadding in it so is nice and thick to  save your table. I got the pattern from a blog called

I think the trees are really lovely this autumn, this is a tree in the grounds of the Hurst community Centre where we hold our twice weekly clubs. I think it is really beautiful

Some cards

Hi Everyone
I thought it about time I put some more cards on here.  The first two are stitched cards, the first one having a lot of beads added.
I am afraid I have got a bit lazy in keeping this blog up to date, so will try to improve. Famous last words!!.

The next one is a stamped card and decorated with card candy and blobs of glitter glue.

Finally here is one I have done for a Grandson using Promarker pens, he is very keen on fishing so thought this appropriate
